Rome

By now we were whipped!  Being a tourist is not for the faint hearted.

Once again VIP kyten  came thru! No wait for the wirtzberger at the Vatican!!   Most people pay extra to skip the line!  😂

Sistine Chapel, vatican, Roman forum, colloseum, Piazza Navona,  Trevi fountain.  So amazing to walk among Roman Empire ruins.

We also celebrated Kestrels 13th birthday while in rome!!  She picked a variety of sweets to taste, I forgot to get a photo. 

Normandy

We took train from Paris and rented van for normandy region.   Bayeaux  Tapestry was pretty neat but much smaller them I expected.

Mont st.Michel is pretty amazing, worth the drive.  the climb up to the Abbey was rough tho.  stopped to see one of last 2bell foundries in france but they were closed. 

Up to Mere Eglise  to see airborne museum,  Utah beach,  site where Ranger climbed a cliff wall !!   Walked thru UK cemetary. American cemetary,  Omaha beach.

The debarqment  site and museum were amazing!! 

Thru every town it was amazing to see what our men saved! Contributed to for those people!! They made a huge difference and sacrifice in many cases.
